This is an introduction to something I would like to refer to as the “Essential Picks“. The concept is simple. If your job isn’t absolutely what you LOVE to do, then Bill Cunningham New York is the perfect film for you. Prior to seeing the film last night, I simply thought is was about the man who revolutionized the street photography we are all so familiar with today- which essentially it was, but I left with a deeper message. In my eyes the overall premise of the film was to show that the ultimate way of achieving happiness is doing what you love- and I’m talking about the type of love that you would do it for free! Without giving too much away- I encourage anyone who is tired of their 9-5 to see this movie- you will leave reevaluating your current situation just as I did. Peep the trailer after the jump.
