The hot weather here in Los Angeles has finally settled in, and as a result, I find myself wearing more shorts than usual (i know this may not seem like a big deal to some, but I am that crazy guy who can wear heavy raw denim jeans year around). In fact, one of my favorite pair of shorts from this season happens to come from the LA based brand, NSF Clothing.  Since I love the shorts so much [extends arms], I decided to feature them in another installment of “Essential Picks”.

100% cotton and they come in black/red, green/teal, light blue/brown and navy/green

I’ve always been fond of this type of striped fabric, so the red embroidered specs and the brown faux wooden buttons was only an added bonus for me.  And not to mention, that they complement most if not all of the shirts in my closet (true statement- I stick to a very consistent color palette of predominantly blues and grays).

If you are one of those cool guys such as myself who naturally finds their hands placed in their pockets, you and everyone else who notices your cool will appreciate the red pocket trim. It’s always those very small details that take garments to the next and this short is a good example of that.  Good job NSF.
